Information you provide is used only for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your enquiry or booking request
  • Scheduling and carrying out plumbing or heating work
  • Processing payments and issuing receipts
  • Preventing fraud and protecting the security of our forms
  • Displaying your review on our website (testimonials only, with your consent)

We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for unsolicited marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this website:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of payment industry certification. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure environment and are never stored on our server. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Google reCAPTCHA — bot prevention on our contact, booking, and payment forms. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of this data by Google is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • n8n (automation platform) — form submission data is routed through an n8n workflow hosted on our own server to deliver booking and enquiry notifications to us. Data is not shared with any other party via this system.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

The only cookie-like technology in use on this site is Google reCAPTCHA, which is loaded on pages containing our forms. reCAPTCHA uses cookies and local storage as part of its bot-detection process.

Because reCAPTCHA is a security measure necessary to protect our forms from spam and abuse, it is loaded regardless of your cookie consent preference. We have no way to deliver form functionality without it.

We also store your cookie consent preference in your browser's local storage so that this banner is not shown on every visit.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Enquiry and booking data is kept for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up queries.
  • Payment records are retained for the period required by UK financial and tax regulations (typically 6 years).
  • Testimonial content is retained until you request its removal.

When data is no longer needed it is securely deleted.

7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it.
  • Right to restriction — you can ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object — you can object to us processing your data for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the details in Section 1. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
